Advanced BioSolutions was founded by two qualified scientists with complementary scopes and a special interest in business development. This enables us to provide expertise to businesses within the health tech and natural products industry. Our combined scientific and business experience allows us to provide integrative and innovative solutions to suit both product development and business development needs.
Charné Prangley
Founder and Director
Charné Prangley is a qualified dietitian and medical research scientist with a background in human health and disease physiology, nutrition, and a special passion for neurobiology. After completing her MSc in Cancer Research, she spent some time in business development within the natural medicines industry. Her responsibilities included everything from product development to ongoing research and scientific validation, to business development, finding product-market fit, procuring investment and stakeholder management. She is especially interested in identifying consumer needs, business development and market strategy.
Jolene Brooks
Founder and Director
Jolene Brooks is a molecular biologist and medicinal plant scientist. She completed her MSc degree in Medicinal Plant Botany after obtaining degrees in both molecular biology and plant biotechnology. Jolene is passionate about health and wellness, with a special interest in chronic illnesses with a neurological element. Jolene has experience in business and product development within the health tech and natural products industry, having worked alongside Charné in the development of a phytopharmaceutical research and commercial pipeline. She has also provided consulting services to both natural product and biotech companies in her private capacity. Jolene is especially interested in providing optimal living solutions through research and development, product development and innovation in business.
